Pupils learning French at school
Having taught in private secondary schools in and around London, I can provide support to the pupils who need it and help them to make sense of difficult topics or grammar points. Being confident speaking a foreign language can also take time, and private tutoring gives us the time and space to develop these essential skills.
As for the more able pupils who don't always get stretched enough in class, they can of course also benefit from a more challenging course to boost their accuracy and fulfil their linguistic potential!
French for Professionals

Pupils taking French exams
I have taught classes taking the IGCSE, A-Levels, IB, and Pre-U exams and I keep up with new specifications every year.
Private tutoring can be key to help students make progress and improve their grades. One-to-one lessons help to identify and target the pupil's weaknesses to avoid making the same mistakes so frequently, whether speaking or writing.
This was my second summer vacation working with Marie to improve my French.
She continues to be super flexible and resourceful in creating a personalized lesson plan to suit my specific needs in French. Marie is also really amiable and easy to converse with, which is another area I need continued practice in!
Our lessons together went by so quickly! I will continue to reach out for more lessons when I am next in the area. It has been a pleasure working with Marie (though it never felt like "work" per se). Bonne continuation !
